Growing up on his family's boat and sailing through the enchanting waters of Turkey and the Greek Islands, his love for the sea blossomed from a very young age. At just 12 years old, he embarked on sailing adventures and immersed himself in various water sports activities, cementing his passion for all things maritime.
At the age of 18, Guvenc earned his captain's license and set his course towards a career in the yachting industry. He honed his skills and knowledge by working on motor yachts, gaining invaluable experience in handling projects across Europe and the Middle East, often collaborating with ex-Coast Guard and Navy Officers on new build endeavors.
After four years of cruising the European waters, Guvenc made a life-changing decision and immigrated to the United States in 2013. There, he continued his thriving yachting career in South Florida and the Caribbean, exploring the seas while traversing over 100 countries for both work and pleasure. This journey facilitated the establishment of strong connections within the global yachting community, cultivating enduring relationships with yacht owners from diverse corners of the world.
Guvenc's expertise in the yachting industry is unparalleled. Having served as Captain on yachts of various sizes since 2009, he holds licenses from both the United States Coast Guard and the Maritime & Coast Guard Agency of the United Kingdom. Beyond his maritime endeavors, he embraces the skies and holds an FAA license for flying during his leisure time.
