Description

The Hatteras 50 does everything well. This 2000 Hatteras 50 had the technical breakthrough for this boat of hull channels, employed by Hatteras after 1999. This change in the classic Hatteras hull allowed for the axles to be raised and provides higher speed and more economy.

The twin Caterpillar engines, 800 hp each, give this impressive 40 ton yacht a great turn of speed at a very economical fuel burn. The manufacturer specs on the vessel is max speed of 27-28 knots and cruising speed of 25 knots.

Bella has been configured by the owners to combine maximum safety for cruising in almost all weather conditions, and at the same time providing the maximum luxury and enjoyment.
The Bella carries at least 400K in additional extras that have been added to maximize comfort and luxury. Ranging from 2 fully automated water makers, a second generator, anchor, anchor stainless chain (360 feet), massive anchor winch, a second aft cockpit winch, bow-thruster, an extended swim platform, a serious stereo system, satellite TV in every cabin, underwater halogen lights, a 5 person dinghy with a 15hp 4-stroke mercury, a sophisticated gangway that seconds as a crane for the dinghy and many-many more!

A very comfortable custom sunbed has been added to the boats bow. There are three lovely staterooms and two heads, with two adjacent showers; one of the heads is ensuite for the owner's cabin. This boat has been well cared for by a very experienced and long time Hatteras owner without regard for expenditure.
