Description

The 4300 Convertible can adapt to either cruising or fishing. The flybridge includes dual Pompanette helm seats, a forward lounge that seats 4, a massive helm, and a custom Pipewelders half tower. The huge cockpit offers 121 square feet of unobstructed social or fish-fighting space. Below deck, the convertible Floor Plan offer a main salon with 6'7" headroom, and a L-lounge sofa (converts to queen berth), Hi-Lo coffee/dining table, breakfast bar, full galley and an optional U-shaped Side Dinette. The Side Dinette has a pedestal table with seating for 6+. It also converts to a berth, and has a 2nd head . The owner's stateroom is 12'6" in overall length, and has a queen-size pedestal bed. The head has a vanity/sink/mirror, and separate fully enclosed shower.  

Cockpit

The cockpit on the 4300 Convertible is spacious and designed for obstruction- free fighting space for the fisherman or large entertaining space for cruisers. There is a built-in cockpit bait prep center with freezer and engine room access. The cockpit features molded-in cockpit steps port and starboard as well as a molded-in transom door and gate. The bolsters are all padded and Tiara’s diamond pattern non-skid is featured on all deck and cockpit surfaces for safe footing. The cockpit sole is reinforced for the addition of a fighting chair. Molded-in scuppers drain the cockpit quickly, whether backing down on a fish or just giving her a bath. There are also two flush floor storage boxes.

Acomodations

The cabin of the 4300 Convertible is comfortable and versatile, the owner's stateroom features a queen-sized pedestal berth with storage below, inner spring mattress, separate A/C controls, two hanging lockers, and hullside shelves and storage compartments. The private, separate owner’s head features molded-in sink with locker below, a large stall shower with acrylic door, and vanity with mirrored lockers. The all fiberglass guest head features molded-in sink with storage below, Vacuflush toilet, handheld shower, and vanity with mirrored lockers. The companionway has access to the holding tank and waste plumbing system and a storage locker. The galley features Corian countertops, three burner electric cooktop, instant hot water dispenser, hardwood sole, double S.S. sink with Sub Zero refrigerator and  freezer, built-in coffee maker, microwave/convection oven, and plenty of storage drawers and cabinets. The main salon is roomy and comfortable, featuring carpeted floors, L-shaped queen-sized sleeper sofa, entertainment center with stereo system, CD changer, and TV/VCR.

Electrical

The electrical system on the 4300 Convertible features a custom 12V and 120V master distribution panel. One 240V 50 amp 65' shore power cord with adapter, an optional Glendinning cable recoiler, which makes handling and storage easy. Also included is a 120V 30 amp 65' shore cord, and a two bank 12V battery system with gel cell batteries, battery charger, galvanic isolators, battery voltage meter, reverse polarity indicators, and generator is.

Engines

The engines in the 4300 Convertible are CAT 3196E diesel engines that produce 660 h.p. per engine at 2300 rpm. This gives the boat an efficient cruise of 25.4 mph at 1900 rpm and an estimated cruise range of 332 statute miles. At wide open throttle the 4300 is running 36.2 mph on the average. Other mechanical features of the 4300 include: water cooled shaft logs, oil changing system for the engines and generator, air conditioning, fresh water cooling on the main engines, Glendinning engine synchronizer, Racor fuel filters with water separators on the engines and generator.

Construction

The 4300 Convertiblel is constructed with a water barrier outer gelcoat layer and handlaid fiberglass with a special formulated resin. A material called “Tech-Lam” is used for stringer material - it is unidirectional, 100% Douglas Fir plywood. Similar to the “silent floor” floor joists and engineered lumber beams used in high-end home construction, they are CNC cut and encapsulated with fiberglass and integrated into the hull. Seacocks and all underwater thru-hull fittings are made of bronze. The 4300 features a hullside ventilation system and gelcoated boot line graphics.The deck  construction is similar to the hull. Tiara’s custom diamond pattern non-skid is used on all deck and cockpit surfaces for sure, safe footing. The transition to foredeck is easy, with grab rails and a sturdy one-piece welded bow rail to assist movement forward. Other deck features of the 4300 Convertible include three aluminum deck hatches with screens and privacy covers, flush forward anchor locker with overboard drain, and a fiberglass molded-in bow pulpit with standard S.S. roller assembly with windlass
