In bristol condition, this yacht has been meticulously cared for by every previous owner and continually updated and maintained to perfection.
MOXIE is a three stateroom, raised pilothouse motor yacht with cockpit, walk-around side decks and flybridge, and offers one of the finest interior arrangements of any similar type yacht. The interior woodwork is crafted in satin varnished American Cherry with high gloss corner posts. Teak & Holly flooring graces the galley/pilothouse area and heads while the remaining floors are covered in carpet with a sound deadening underlayment. All fabrics, wall coverings, carpets, bedspreads, and pillow shams as well as other linens and decor items have been upgraded from standard to superior quality. Closets and hanging lockers are lined with aromatic cedar. Windows on the main deck are of gray tinted, heat-treated laminated glass. All living spaces offer opening ports, overhead hatches, or sliding windows for natural ventilation. Four, zone-direct expansion air conditioning and heating systems provide supreme indoor comfort.
MOXIE’s engine room is large with full standing headroom and a thoughtful layout making maintenance and accessibility to equipment extremely easy. The twin CAT 3196-TA 660 HP diesels have only 300 hours since a major overhaul. In 2016, new exhausts were fitted by DeAngelo Marine.
Staterooms are accessed via a staircase forward from the starboard side of the pilothouse. The amidships, full beam master stateroom features an ensuite head and shower. Full forward in the bow, the VIP stateroom has a tapered center line queen berth. The third stateroom, port side, provides over/under berths. The second head may be entered through either the VIP or guest staterooms.
The main salon is easily accessed from either the cockpit or three steps down from the pilothouse. Open to the pilothouse/galley, the space is bright and airy with large windows that offer excellent visibility. Beautiful interiors are afforded by satin-finished American Cherry paneling and cabinet tops inlayed with Madrone Burl wood. Wood mini blinds adorn windows and Duette shades cover aft doors leading to the cockpit. The aft salon door has a Fantom screen door that pulls out from either side and attaches in the center.
The salon is furnished with a large U-shaped sofa and teak hi-low table (portside) and a single comfortable occasional chair. Starboard is a custom entertainment center with a built-in, retractable Samsung 43” LED TV as well as glass and bottle storage and on the starboard side is book storage. Integrated with the TV, the Garmin chart plotter allows the yacht’s position and course to be monitored by guests.
The galley has an exceptional layout being just aft of the pilothouse on the port side. Functional and efficient, it is designed with plenty of granite countertop space and storage. Wood paneled appliances, a double sink, and teak & holly flooring highlight the area. Starboard, a leather dinette that seats four surrounds a granite table on a pedestal base, there is storage under the lounge and behind the back rests.

The full-beam master cabin is amidships below, taking advantage of the yacht’s most quiet and comfortable location, and features a walk-around queen berth and private ensuite head/shower. The 7” composite mattress was replaced new in 2018 and behind is a beveled mirror on the bulkhead. Swing arm lamps are located on both sides of the headboard; a large dresser with drawers, a HD 22" TV in the cabinet, and a large hanging locker are starboard side with ample drawer storage. Forward port side is a larger, lighted walk-in closet and as well as a separate locker to house a stacked Whirlpool washer dryer
Some additional features are: Espar heaters for colder climates, Simrad IS15 multifunction and dedicated Webasto AC unit capable of running on the invertor
The ensuite head is fore and aft port side and features a marble under mount sink with Moen faucet, stall shower with glass door, freshwater SeaLand toilet, ventilating fan, and medicine cabinet with beveled mirror.
The VIP cabin, full forward in the bow, is furnished with a centerline queen berth with 7” innerspring mattress, under bunk storage, and custom bedspreads and pillow shams & swing arm lamps. Two overhead Lewmar hatches provide additional light and have Oceanaire screens/shades. A built-in dresser, cabinets on either side with beveled mirror fronts, and outboard shelves provide storage. A new LG 22” LED HD TV and stereo speakers provide entertainment.
The third stateroom, located portside between the master stateroom and the VIP, offers over/under berths with innerspring mattresses and custom bedspreads and shams. Also featured is a full height hanging locker with shelves..
Guest Head And Shower
Located opposite the portside guest stateroom is the guest head with marble topped vanity and Moen single-lever faucet, beveled mirrored medicine cabinets, SeaLand freshwater toilet, automatic ventilating fan on a timer, fitted mirror headliner, and storage locker and drawers beneath the vanity. The shower with glass door stall is operated with a single-lever Moen shower head.

The pilothouse is raised to the same level as the galley and dinette and is accessed externally port and starboard through flush-fit, aircraft-type sliding doors with rollaway screens or internally, three steps up from the salon. The space centers around a curved console with navigation and full engine instrumentation and engine controls. To port is a chart/work area with chart drawers and storage beneath. The leather helmsman chair is by Stidd.
Windows are kept clear, when necessary, by three multi-speed, marine-grade windshield wipers with washers and an air defrost system.

The large flybridge is accessed externally from the cockpit via a few steps and a ladder or internally from the pilot house. Featured is a center steering console, helm and companion chair, flush mount electronics and two facing L-shaped lounges with tables and new covers for all. A Bimini top with 4-side enclosure with sliding aft door and 2 side panels for protection from sun and weather and fresh water washdown. Rising above is a radar arch that supports all antennas.

The cockpit may be entered from either side, from the swim platform, or from the salon via double doors. The cockpit deck is laid with 5/8” teak, new in 2019. Concurrently, the swim platform teak surface was removed and replaced with non-skid.
Cockpit highlights include teak-varnished cap rails, storage lockers port and starboard, a swing out control station with engine and bow thruster controls for docking, a Miele electric barbecue grill, a handheld hot/cold shower, and courtesy lights. Waterproof speakers and overhead floodlights on the flybridge provide sound and light. Steps to the salon swing up to give access to the stand-up engine room. Beneath the centerline hatch is abundant storage with custom shelving for organization.
West Bay’s high-quality AC/DC electrical system begins with a custom load switching AC circuit breaker panel for balancing generator and shore power to obtain maximum efficiency. It is further supported by a Yacht-O-Matic automatic electrical source switching system to provide hands-off control for generators and shore power loads. There are analog meters to monitor AC and DC amps and volts. Low voltage AC halogen, 120-volt fluorescent, and 12-volt lighting is used appropriately throughout the boat.

new The white hull is vacuum bonded, hand laid up fiberglass Knytex and BTI with a 1" core cell, urethane foam core fiberglass stringers, and ISO Aristech resin osmosis protection below the waterline. The deck is cored, as are all bulkheads. Barium filled foam composite laminate in the engine room bulkheads and overhead provide sound insulation. Bilges and machinery spaces are finished with epoxy paint for ease of maintenance. The boot stripe is 2" black Imron and new bottom paint May 2019.
The hull is protected with a rub rail capped with a stainless-steel striker. All handrails and rail fittings are 1-1/4’" 316 stainless. There are twelve cleats: 4 bow, 2 stern, 4 springline and 2 flush popups on the swim platform. An anchor platform with bow roller is fitted on the foredeck. Propeller shafts and hydrodynamic rudders are stainless steel.
The cockpit floor is laid teak and varnished teak cap rail top the bulwarks. A port side door opens to the swim platform with five removable hoops stain less handrails.
The dinghy is a new 2019 11’ Brig tender with 30 hp Honda outboard.
All recommendations made in the survey reports obtained upon purchase were completed. Surveyors were Nautical Services Group, Inc. (Jon Howe) and Marine Diesel Analysts, Inc. (Tim Caruso).
All navigation equipment has been changed and reinstalled with new glass panels in the main and flybridge helm stations. Antenna for GPS changed.
