We are proud to represent and promote this 5000 Supercat Roadster, which is
one of Nor-Tech's most beautiful boats ever.This boat was ordered new from
the Factory directly to Norway and is probably the biggest and fastest
powerboat build with CE-certification. It has two previous owners, has been
serviced by Mercury Racing -authorized technichians and is still in a very
good condition. This is among the fastest boats you will ever see in Europe
even though it is equipped with the service friendly 700 hp engines from
Mercury. You might think 700-engines is not suffichient to make it super
fast... But we forgot to mention that it has four of them! Combined with
the popular Mercruiser NXT1 drives, you get a "bullet proof" high
performance package. With this boat, you are on top of the world. The
Tyranosaurus Rex of speedboats. In every marina, in every city, in every
country, you own the place...
MERCURY RACING HP700SCI. These are hand build V8 "big blocks" of 502 cubic
inches of displacement - 8,2 liters with a Lysholm screw-compressor
generating massiv torque all the way from idle. Fitted with sequential
electronic fuel injection and static distributor-less ignition, they
provide dependable and precise power in all situations. Furthermore, we can
mention that these engines feature "Guardian Mode" to reduce problems to a
minimum and the risk of total engine damage is minimal. A computer
cotrolled valve constantly adjust the engine's blower boost pressure to
enable exactly 700 horsepower in all conditions, wether it is dry or humid,
cold or warm outside. That way, you don't need to change propellers due to
climatic changes. All engine information from all four motors are digitally
monitored on a single Smart Craft screen on the dashboard, and you can
while you are on the water be notified which sensor is giving you an error.
That means that out in the real world, -you can actually tell your mechanic
about the problem on the phone, and he can replace the part MUCH quicker
when he already might know which part is broken or what kind of problem you
experience before you enter hs marina. Large oil coolers for great high
performance dependability is standard. With only 230 houres, these engines
have many years of high speed enjoyment left on them. The boat is fitted
with state-of-the-art 17" diametre 5-blade Mercury Racing propellers for
ultimate grip in all conditions and extreme prop axle heights. Mercruiser
NXT1 drives are expensive dry-sump lubrication heavy duty racing drives for
ultimate durability. Inside the boat, you will find BAM upgraded hydraulic
shift transmissions on the inside engines. For the tvo outside engines, you
find SCS crach boxes. Mechanical tranmissions with few moving pars and no
hydraulic shift mechanism. These transmissions are chosen to be more ridgid
than hydraulic transmissions as these drives are more often in the water
than the inner drives. There is also a pair of star buttons right in front
of the outer shift levers to enable fast starting and engine rotation while
you wiggle the levers to engage fwd or revers and to release them from
COLORS and GRAPHICS
This boat is beautifully done and painted in full. It has a sexy mix of
light baby blue metallic, medium blue flake, dark blue metallic, silver and
smoky grey. The gelcoat on this monster is white. The mooring pop-up
cleats, grab handles and rub rail is polished stainless steel 316. In the
cockpit, you have a combination of dark navy blue and light beige vinyl and
blue carbon fibre panels. The throttle/shifters are also chrome and blue.
Three blue anodized grab handles between the rear seats keeps the rear seat
passengers in place. All seat backs have custom embroidery with the name of
the boat "Ship o'hoi" !!
The boat runs 138+ GPS mph. / 118 knots, and represent a phenomenal
enjoyment when its four huge surface piercing propellers throw the water
200 meters behind them while the boat accellerates. With this boat, you
have a stable platform in any situation. You can cruise (yes CRUISE) at 100
mph. or you can idle around on two engines at 6 knots and burn no more that
18 liters of gasoline per houre. It is quiet when idling thanks to the
patented Nor-Tech "Stealth" exhaust system where there is only a rubber
hose that relief the exhaust above the water surface when the boat is out
of plane. Advance the throttles, and the distintive whine from four
superchargers make your adrenaline start to blow through your body. Then
coming up on plane, the huge exhaust outlet in front of the propeller is
free in the air, and a growl of no less than 32 cylinders become present.
After this stage, it is only you, your best friends on board and 9 tons of
fibreglass and raw American V8 power that is on your mind. Quadruple gas
engines with superchargers deliver a sound picture and vibration in the air
that even the best composer in the world is unable to duplicate. I wish all
humans were able to experience this sound one time in their life!
Heavy duty knitted bi-axial fiberglass, vinylester resin, heavy duty racing
engine mounts, fibreglass windshield frame with tinted acrylic glass.
Several custom made air vents make this boat a real masterpiece. When
looking inside the hull, you find a network of bulkkheads to stiffen its
overall structure from flexing and cracking.
Race style bucket seats with custom painted backside outfitted with rear
facing LCD screens. A quad bolster seat with wide body separators. All done
in exclusive beige vinyl and a "Bentley" double diamond stiched pattern.
Integrated racing steering into NXT1 gimbal assembilies. These drives
specially designed for the HP700SCI engine for maximum durability and to
enabl both "over-the-hub-exhaust" propellers and "through-hub" propellers.
That means that it is possible to select a much wider selection of
propellers, and that you can put on a std. design propeller from a bravo
XR-drive. detachable hub insert must be changed though.

boat. It is a painted steel "goose neck" with triple axles. It has
stainless steel disc brakes on all wheels which is operated by both
electric Brakerite pump (foruse with brakecontroller in the truck + air for
full size trucks. It is outfitted with a kingpin for full size trucks or
pickups with 5th wheel on the truckbed, and now it has a bolt-on
kingpin-to-gooseneck-adapter to it for use on pickups with 2" 5/16 goose
nech ball. Plenty of LED lights are of couse standard and it also feature a
practival ladder with dual grab handles. It also has a heavy duty double
screw tounge jack for easy operation on an off the truck.
