Sportfish builders, Post Marine, was founded in 1957 as a limited-production builder of traditional Jersey-style fishing boats. The launch of the Post 42 Sport Fisherman in 1974 established the company’s name. Post closed its operations in 2011. The brand is known for traditional mahogany and teak interiors, high production standards, and tournament-level fishability.
