Ajaccio to Olbia
Corsica & Sardinia, 8 Days

Day 1: Ajaccio, Corsica
Board your yacht in Napolean’s birthplace, a town filled with history and charm. Tour the 16th century fort or just stroll the warm and inviting streets and city plaza.

Day 2: Valinco
The Gulf of Valinco is the most southerly of the four great bays on Corsica’s west coast. Here, Genoese watchtowers perch on maquis-covered hillsides and verdant mountains tower over idyllic hidden coves and crystal clear bays. The charming authenticity of the mountaintop villages beautifully enhances the spectacular views.

Day 3: Bonifacio
On its limestone pedestal, Bonifacio is one of the most spectacular towns in the Mediterranean. The citadel walls and ancient houses appear to rise seamlessly out of sheer cliffs that have been hollowed by the wind and waves.

Day 4: The La Madeline Archipelago
La Maddalena is the largest town in the La Madeline Archipelago, sitting in the Straits of Bonifacio. The island of Maddalena is renowned for its beaches; it is characterized by rocky granitic terrain and has some ancient fortifications.

Day 5:  Porto Cervo, Sardinia
Porto Cervo is the main center of the Costa Smeralda, created by Prince Karim Aga Khan and other investors. Porto Cervo is definitely the place to been seen as the harbor is filled with yachts and the European elite.

Day 6: Cala di Volpe
This gorgeous beach and small resort is actually a satellite of Porto Cervo to its immediate north. The Cala di Volpe resort is arguably the grandest in all of Sardinia and the beach here lies in a sheltered bay crowned by shrub scented with juniper and "strawberry" trees. The hotel, featured in The Spy Who Loved Me is listed at number 7 on World's 15 most expensive hotel suites complied by CNN Go in 2012.

Day 7: Tavalara
Talavara is a picturesque, granitic island where a natural rock formation called the “Stone Sentry” may be found.
