It has already earned itself the nickname of “the Swiss Army Knife of the sea” on account of its ability to meet the various needs of yacht owners, adapting to different types of cruises and practical uses. In this sense, the 43wallytender’s adaptability, modulating its deck configurations to cater for the needs of the moment, is a fundamental element of its success.
Nevertheless, we hope fans of Swiss Army Knives won’t be offended if we say that the new 43wallytender is anything but a timeless classic, because it embodies future trends in the world of sailing ahead of time, as is often the case with Wally.
Fast, fun, and exclusive: it introduces a design featuring for the first time a central cockpit, which offers guests maximum protection against wind and spray, even at high speeds, with all the convenience and accessibility of a walkaround. The innovative layout combines the fabulous feeling of being in the open air with the safety and comfort typical of crafts with less overlook. When working on this model, the design team got in touch with owners of Wally tenders to ask for their feedback about the craft’s features and functions.
As a result, the 43wallytender has the best of its predecessors and fills a gap in the market by offering sheltered sailing for skipper and passengers, excellent maneuverability, extraordinary performance, a generous bathroom with a separate shower enclosure, a cabin with a bed, and an ample selection of deck layouts.
BELIEVING IN INNOVATION
Loyal to the Wally spirit and iconic style, the 43wallytender marks a turning point in the range, finding inspiration in the models that made the brand’s history, like the Wallytender, WallyOne and 47wallypower. The 43wallytender also draws from the undisputed sailing heritage of Wally, adding a laminated sailcloth on the carbon fiber superstructure of the T-top. Elegant and contemporary, this solution combines style and practical features: the T-top’s semi-transparent cover is light enough to be supported by a single upright. It offers maximum visibility without any impact on the displacement while sheltering the guests from the sun and still offering them plenty of natural light.
Developed by Wally and Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the 43wallytender is built in advanced composites with carbon fiber in the new Wally shipyard in Forlì, Italy. Like all the tenders by the brand, the 43wallytender is available in a wide selection of breathtaking colors, exclusive to Wally. It can carry up to twelve people (category B) at speeds up to 40 knots.
WHEN THE COCKPIT MEETS THE WALKAROUND
The jewel in the crown of the 43wallytender is its unusual layout with a central cockpit that offers the skipper and the passengers total protection against the elements, especially at high speed, thanks to the glass windscreen surrounding it on three sides and the T-top. For enhanced visibility, the front section of the windscreen is a single sheet of glass curving out from the center, without uprights. This solution underscores its futuristic design, in line with Wally’s DNA of being twenty years ahead of its time. Finally, the convenient side walkways guarantee safe access to the large forward sun pad.
AS YOU WANT ME
The generous free deck area at the stern, together with the bulwark sections that can be folded down supplied as standard, is the ideal space for guests or for storing the sails of a superyacht during a regatta, while the dining table, the generous seating and sun pad make this tender the ideal craft for enjoying the sea.
Water sports enthusiasts can store their equipment in the stern sun pad, available as an optional, fitted out as a garage for seabobs, wakeboards, scuba diving tanks, and other water toys. Instead of the traditional choice of a single configuration, customers can choose from a variety of accessories that can be installed when needed in just one to two days at the shipyard.
The 43wallytender is complete with an ample range of premium equipment supplied as standard, such as the T-top in carbon, LED deck lighting, the pushbutton-controlled retractable hydraulic anchor system, the bulwarks that fold down to increase the living space on deck, the teak deck, and the integrated wraparound Wally fender.
EVERY DETAIL CAREFULLY DESIGNED
The two Volvo Penta 380 HP diesel engines with stern drivers are practical for retrieving and storing the tender at a seaside home and are ideal for exploring hidden coves thanks to their limited draft. The optional propulsion system has a more powerful configuration, consisting of two 440 HP engines for top speeds of over 40 knots with a practical joystick for easy maneuverability.
Nothing has been left to chance aboard the 43wallytender and owners can choose from a wide selection of customization options to satisfy personal preferences.
